I have always been driven by my inner calling to draw and design. Drawing has always been my true love and passion. It all began when I started drawing pictures for my friends and sewing my own outfits. My initial career in graphic and fashion design evolved into starting my own small business. Moreover, moving from Germany to the United States was a game-changer. Now, I am on my way to pursue my dreams of becoming an artist and designer in a country full of opportunities.

When I completed high school I was unsure about what I wanted to major in, one thing I always did know is that there was an artist within me. Although, Graphic Design never felt like my end path, I learned so many valuable design tools that I still utilize today. I get inspired by everything and everyone around me. I love getting out of my own little world and seeing how other people dress, live, and create. I’m an observer and love all the little details that make people unique. Road tripping across America has influenced me with endless inspiration. Sometimes all it takes is a song, a movie, or a feeling that inspires me. My music loving dad also is a key inspiration in my life. When I was teenager my dad exposed me to all various music genres, musicians, and its styles which came along with it fashion wise. The American singer and songwriter Lana Del Rey especially inspires me for over a decade. Her sense of style gave her the title ‘Retro-Queen’ which also perfectly describes my own designs. Her so-called ‘Hollywood-Sadcore’ music style gives a cinematic feeling associated with an aural glamor which allows me to dive into my own world of inspiration.

During my time as a fashion student, I modeled for runway shows and photography, I worked as a makeup artist, designer and seamstress for Couture and participated in four runway shows as a model and designer in Münster, Germany.
My last fashion show ‘Capes, Coats & Cat Eyes’ took place in fall 2019, in cooperation with ‘The Eyewear Gallery’ in Reston, Virginia. I designed a collection of coats and capes and the retro eyewear completed the look. In 2020, the pandemic left me to restructure my business concept from being a dressmaker for tailored clothing to running an online shop, and selling unique and fashionable high quality face masks. Over 700 LB handmade masks have been shipped all over America and Germany and helped to make this pandemic look a little bit more glamorous. I made sure to donate a part of my income to support a local charity ‘The Tin Cup Fund’ and the child trafficking organization ‘Agape International Missions’.

Currently, I am extending my business with self-painted art works. The latest pieces show airy and soft visions of heaven, painted with acrylic on canvas, decorated with a touch of shimmering gold flakes.
